Join the team that makes Beeston Festival happen

Beeston Festival is back on Saturday 27 June 2026 and they have put out their annual call for volunteers to help make the day happen.

The festival is a free, family‑friendly celebration in Cross Flatts Park, bringing together music, food, market stalls, sports, and activities for all ages. The live event runs from 12-5pm, costs over £30,000 to produce and relies on over 500 voluntary hours to assist with set-up, festival operations and pack-down.

This is where you come in.

Angela Gabriel, Chair of Beeston Festival said:

“Our voluntary organising committee have been in planning for several months already to bring this day to life. If you can spare a few hours on the day, we’d love to have you on the team. Many hands make light work has never been more true – the more people who sign up, the shorter the shifts become. Bring a friend or colleague to half your workload and double the fun!”

Suggested Volunteer Shifts | Choose whichever suits you best or let us know your availability.

8:30am-2:30pm | Set‑Up Crew
Build market stalls, lay flags & barriers, traffic steward, deliver tables & chairs, set up stages and help with event stewarding. You’re welcome to start as early as you can make it!

12-5pm | Social media
We need volunteers to create content, like and share tagged posts and capture engagement.

2-8pm | Event & Pack‑Down Crew
Stewarding, helping on food stalls, stage support, and dismantling, lifting and carrying to close the site. Once we’re done, we’re done!

No experience needed — just enthusiasm and a willingness to help your community. If you can only help out for specific times or a few hours, just let us know your availability.

Thank you for supporting Beeston Festival. Together we can create another brilliant day in the park.
