Yorkshire’s own Drop Leg Steppers bring a high-energy fusion of reggae, ska, and dub, guaranteed to get you moving. Whether it’s a deep bassline, rolling percussion, or a soaring brass melody, our sound is built for dancing. Every gig is a vibe—feet tapping, hips swaying, and the rhythm running through your soul.

We thrive in the open air—sun shining, music flowing, and the crowd moving with us.

Woman of Soul Show – Rachel Modest & Denatta Copeland – 1pm

Rachel Modest is a singer/songwriter originally from Sheffield, South Yorkshire. She has been performing music for as long as she can remember. Brought up in the Gospel tradition, Rachel has worked with  a range of musicians and record labels. Including The Bluefoot Project, JD73, ZR Records and ATA records.

Denatta Copeland is a UK-based Spoken-Word artist with over 20 years’ experience performing my work across the country. My style—Ra-Poetry—fuses poetry with the energy of Hip Hop, House, Jungle, and Drum’n’Bass, using rhyme as a powerful form of storytelling. I’m driven by a passion for authentic expression and sharp, positive wordplay.

 

Goldfinger & Band with SilverFinger Singh – 2pm

SilverFinger Singh has music in his blood and is the son of percussion maestro and music producer Mr. Inder Matharu aka GoldFinger.

SilverFinger Singh’s debut release in 2018 ‘Education Road EP’ put him firmly on the map with radio support from the BBC Asian Network, BBC Radio Leeds, BBC Radio Manchester, Punjab 2000 and many more.

Inspired by Sacred Music, Inder trained under the guidance of Tabla Maestro Pandit Manik-Rao Popatkar. Championed by City of Leeds college of Music’s Roy Warmsley trained in tuned percussion with a keen ear in popular and world music.

 

Brave Words takeover – 3:20pm

Brave Words and the Walk About acts will come around the main stage,  DJ music and compering by young people and Chris Singleton.

Kibitz – 4pm

Kibitz are a 6 piece band from Leeds performing energetic and soulful klezmer and Eastern European folk music.
