Get involved

Beeston Festival is organised by a committee of volunteers and we are always looking for more people with ideas and energy to get involved.

The festival relies on our army of volunteers on the day. In 2013, 60 volunteers put in over 300 hours of work on the day. We get great feedback from our volunteers who enjoy the camaraderie and doing something positive in the community. Some enjoy it so much they come back year after year, but we’re always looking for new recruits.

As a volunteer you might find yourself helping set up fencing, putting up signs, moving generators, directing traffic, helping stallholders, litterpicking, working on festival stalls, or looking after lost children. We need help with all these tasks. You can volunteer for a hour, all day, or anything in between!

Please email us if you can help:

We also need help with donations – especially cakes, scones, samosas and other snacks. You can bring these on the day, or we can pick them up beforehand.
